American Drugstore Haul!

I tried, I really did, but I just couldn't resist the temptation. I had to see what all the fuss was about when it came to drugstore makeup across the pond. We didn't go to Target or anywhere like that so I had a little browse of our local Publix supermarket and this is what I came across.

First things first, guess what idiot bought the wrong thing, this girl! I meant to pick up the much coveted Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer that has been raved about by beauty bloggers for the past year. It was top of my list of things to buy but when it came down to it I thought bigger was better. There were two Maybelline products with the sponge on top and I just assumed that they were both the same and that one was just better value for money. They weren't the same. At all. What I bought was the Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser which was more of a tinted SPF that didn't have much coverage and practically the complete opposite. I'm going to give it a fair trial so that it wasn't a complete waste of money and if it's any good I'll report back. Sticking with the base theme I wanted to try out a foundation and I settled on the Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous. I don't know why I went for this one but it said oil free, the packaging was interesting so I thought that I'd give it a go. I've just it pretty much everyday since I got it and so far I'm loving it! It's lightweight but has a pretty good coverage and lasts all day. The plastic packaging makes it really easy travel with and I think that this will become a firm favourite of mine. Last but not least is another Covergirl product, the Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara. I'd heard about this product before and I was in need of a new mascara so I thought that I'd pick it up. I love it. It curls, volumises and lengthens my lashes without any flaking or smudging. I don't know what I'm going to do when I finish it because it's so good.

August Favourites

Another month, another favourites and this month I must have been in a really loving mood because there were so many things that I put on my list of favourites. I've cut it down to be my true loves so let's get started!

Clinique Colour Pop Lipsticks
I only bought these beauties last week but I have to say that I'm already in love! I've been eyeing these up for a while so when I was in the Trafford Centre last Saturday I took the plunge. I've always wanted Melon Pop but after a pole of my family I went for Poppy Pop. The only problem was that that was the only one that they didn't have. Because I really wanted one I went for Melon Pop and later that day I went to Debenhams to get my hand on Poppy Pop. I love how they are both so different and I can tell that these are going to be well loved!

Betty's tea and the best mug in the world
If you live in the Yorkshire are then no doubt you'll know what and where Betty's is but for those of you who haven't had the pleasure it's a tearoom (there are 4 in various towns and cities) that is just amazing. They serve gorgeous meals, beautiful cakes and the best cup of tea ever. So there was delight in my household when one of our relatives got my mum a Betty's gift bag that had some Betty's tea bags in it. We've stopped using our normal Tesco tea and I think it will be hard to go back. There's just something about it that makes it the best tea in the world. I love it! I bought my Rapunzel mug when I was in Florida and I love it so much. It's large which I like because you can get a lot of liquid in it and it just looks so pretty and cute. Both of these things together have been a major favourite this month!

Sweet potato and ranch
When I was on holiday in Florida at the beginning of this month (which I've never mentioned on this blog before, ha ha) I fell in love with jacket sweet potatoes. I love how easy they were to make, just shove them in the microwave and then the oven, and they were sticky and sweet and went with most meals. The icing on the sweet potato cake was putting it with ranch. OMG I just loooooove ranch! In the UK we don't have as much of a ranch thing as the americans and I have no idea why because it's just so amazing. I'm going to see if I can find some to take to uni with me because that will totally be my staple.

My furry friends
The picture above shows the latest fluffy toys that I've added to my collection. They're Thumper and Doug. They're super cute and I love them so much. That's all I have to say really, love them!

How To: Makeup On The Go

Tomorrow I'm going to be hopping on a train and heading down to Oxford to see my uni pals and I am super excited I literally cannot wait! It seems like it's been forever since I saw them last so there'll be lots to catch up on. Anyway, my train journey is around three and a half hours so to make sure I look fresh when I step off the train I'm going to be taking a little touch up bag with me. I never normally redo my face after a journey but then I end up looking like a sweaty mess so this time I'm going to take a little pack so that I look presentable.

The first thing that I'm going to take is my mini Benefit Pore-fessional powder that I got in a Benefit set that I recently picked up in Sephora (read about what else I got at Sephora here). It comes with the handy little brush and is the perfect size to just shove in my bag. I've not given it a proper test so I'm not sure how the actual product performs but if I like it I'll keep you posted. Next up is my Rimmel Kohl Kajal eyeliner in Jet Black. No doubt it will have worn off by the time my journey ends so it's just easy to take it and top it up in my waterline. The wear time is pretty good but after four hours it won't be in the waterline anymore. A new addition to my life is the Clinique Colour Pop Lipstick in Melon Pop (I also got Poppy Pop and a review will be coming soon) and I am loving it so far. This might not be the lipstick I'm wearing (although it's highly likely it will be) but whatever lip product I'm wearing on the day will go in the bag so that I can reapply it. These Sephora Cool Mint blotting papers are my life saver. My skin can get quite oily pretty easily so a quick dab with one of these bad boys really helps me out. I also like the fact that it's cooling from the mint and smells great.

Longhorn Steakhouse!

Week two of the Florida food trip and this time it's the turn of Longhorn Steakhouse. Unlike Texas Roadhouse last week the menu is a little more limited. There are a lot of options but it sticks more towards steaks and burgers and different versions and flavours of those. The service wasn't as good as last week's but it wasn't awful and the decor was nice and cosy, like a log cabin, lots of dark wood.

Let's jump into the meal and for starter we all shared chicken bites and handmade kettle chips. The chicken bites had a slightly spicy batter which was tasty and gave off a nice heat as well as having a sweet chilli sauce which went really nicely with the bites. The portion size was large for one person, but as a sharer for four it was absolutely perfect. The pieces were bite sized and really moist. The kettle chips were lovely. Crispy, not greasy at all and you could tell that they were made in the restaurant. It came with two dips, a garlic one and a barbecue one. The garlic one was okay but tasted a little funny and I didn't try the other one as I'm not the biggest fan of barbecue. The chilli sauce however from the chicken bites went really nicely with it so I just used that. Overall I enjoyed both of these and the meal got off to a really good start.

For my main I chose the parmesan steak with seasoned fries. It also came with a salad before they brought this which was huge. I didn't eat it because it had grated cheese in and I do not do raw cheese but it's quite good that it came included with the price of your main meal. The steak was cooked lovely, near perfect but it could have just been a little bit pinker, I asked for it medium rare. The parmesan crust was needed because I like to have a sauce with my steak so this gave it a bit of something else. It was crispy and there was the perfect amount. The fries were very nice, tasty and crispy. The portion size of the whole meal was perfect, surprising from what we'd experienced before, and I polished off the whole lot. Lovely!

To finish off the meal I went for the chocolate lava cake. I have to say I was a little disappointed. I expected it to be a bit like a chocolate fondant, rich and full of chocolate-y flavour but it was a little bit tasteless. Too sweet, too clacky and too big. Sorry to be a bit of a downer but I just wasn't a fan and it was a shame because for me it let down the meal a little bit but overall I really enjoyed it and pretty much everything was tasty.

The Smoky Eye Palette of Dreams

It happened. It actually happened. I have a big beauty item pretty soon after it comes out. Wow. This is the Naked Smoky palette. A dark eye lovers dream and as soon as I saw it, I knew it was the one. If you read my Sephora haul post last week you'll know that I picked this up whilst I was in America. it was kind of an impulse purchase in the sense that my mum told me it was there and I just put it in my basket but I have the Naked 3 and love it to pieces and there is no doubt that Urban Decay know their eyeshadows. I've been using this a lot ever since I came back from my holiday to get a good idea of whether this is the palette for me, and I have to say it could be one of my favourites. I love the fact that it's so easy to do any sort of look. Daytime is a breeze and although I haven't tested it out in terms of a full on night out smoky eye (that's a job for this weekend's visit to Oxford) it can do a sultry look easily.

So far my favourite shades have been High, a champagne shimmer that works all over the lid and in the inner corner, Whiskey, a gorgeous crease shade which I blend out and works with any look and Black Market which looks great along the lash line. I've been turning more towards the warmer shades in the palette as apposed to the greys but I love the versatility and that if I fancy a cooler toned eye look I can easily achieve one. I'm very excited t try out Smolder, the purple in the palette, because the Naked palettes are known for sticking to strictly neutral shades. I like the fact that they've added in a pop of colour, the same can be said with Dagger as well as it has a tint of blue, and it creates more versatility with the eye looks. The mix of mattes and shimmers is perfect as this palette has more mattes in than the previous Naked palettes and I think that it was needed.

Round Up #8

Ribby Hall
This year my mum is celebrating a big birthday so 13 family members rented a house for a long weekend at Ribby Hall just outside of Blackpool. We all had such a great time and although we seemed to be there a while, time also flew by. The house was huge and had a sauna and a hot tub so there wasn't much need to venture out into the main part of Ribby Hall. The garden was huge (and didn't get enough use) with a mini playground which was good fun. I had such a good weekend and wish we could do it all over again.

Pretty Little Liars
I know it was last week but OMG I still can't get over the big reveal. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Someone on Twitter perfectly summed it up by saying "Why do I feel like we still haven't met big A" and I totally get it! The episode was really good and the whole 'why is A being A thing' could not be faulted and I felt completely sorry for A which was something I thought that I would never say. Now to watch the entire show from the beginning again and see if you can work things out!

How to: Not Panic in Sephora

As you'll know if you read my sephora haul post (if not why not and still if not click here) I recently had my first ever american sephora experience and it was amazing! But I needed to make sure that I had sorted myself out and made sure that when I got there I didn't get overwhelmed and end up buying anything and everything that I ended up wasting my money. So, here are some tips on how to not panic and make the most of sephora shopping, especially if you're from the UK and this is a rare opportunity!

1. Make a list // I've said this multiple times, making a list is what will keep you on track when you're getting in a fluster over all the new products and pretty packaging. Try and keep your list realistic, look at what budget you have and try and keep to things you really want.

2. Do your research // For a fair few weeks before I was on YouTube and sifted through blog posts to see what people bought in their Sephora hauls and what products were their favourites. This meant I'd be buying products that people already like so they would be less likely to be a waste of money.

3. Get a basket and take your time // Do. Not. Rush. Wander around the store taking your time to look at everything because it can be easy to think "I'll have this and this and this...". If you have a scope around first then you can make a mental note of things to go back to rather than picking it up and filling your basket straight away.

Now you have these handy tips you can shop to your hearts content! Have fun!

Texas Roadhouse!

This post is the first in a line of America food posts and I know that I'm going to feel seriously hungry when writing all of them. Without further ado, her we go with Texas Roadhouse. The menu had a wide range of food items, from burgers to steaks and chicken so there is something for everyone. Drinks are free refills (on pop) and the service was top notch so I'd definitely recommend going here. It was one of my favourite places that we ate all holiday.

For starter we decided to go for the combo, that way we could try out a few different options and not be too full for our main (because these portions sizes were something else, as you'll find out later). The dish came with loaded cheese and bacon potato skins, rattlesnake bites, which were a breaded jalapeƱo and mozzarella mix, and spicy chicken pieces. This has to be one of my favourite dishes of the entire holiday. The chicken was nice but rather than blow your head of there was a little bit of heat and it went really nicely with the cool sour cream. The rattlesnake bites were a lovely little addition. They also had a nice heat behind them and were super tasty. The outside was crunchy and the inside was soft which was a nice contrast. The star of the show was definitely the loaded potato skin. I am totally not a fan of this kind of thing, I'm not normally a cheerleader for potato but the crispiness of the skin and the taste of the bacon totally won me over! I literally could not stop thinking about these things for the rest of the holiday, especially when we went out to eat. What a winner!

Southern Fried Chicken with mushrooms, onions, a cream gravy, chips and a sweet potato was on the agenda for lunch and boy was it delicious! It was weird and a really bizarre experience, but delicious all the same! The mushrooms and onions mixed with the cream gravy turned into a really nice mushroom sauce and went really nicely with the crispy chicken. Fried chicken is one of my guilty pleasures so this was right up my street and did not disappoint! It wasn't greasy in the slightest but was full of flavour and I would definitely have it again. The chips were a little bit too chunky for me but I enjoyed the crispier bits but the sweet potato was out of this world! Soft and sweet, I was in love. The only downside of this meal was the shear portion size. There was no way I was going to finish all of this. It tasted pretty amazing though, yum!

First Sephora Haul!

Now isn't this exciting! During an amazing three week holiday to Florida I jumped at the chance to visit a Sephora and I had a great time. Last year I went into one in Spain and it was a bit of an under yet also overwhelming experience. There wasn't the brands that I wanted and I there were so many products that I had no idea what to buy. This time I did my research, made a list (which you can read here) and went in there ready and raring to go!

There were some things on the list that I didn't end up getting but I think that my little collection (which had a rather large price tag) worked out well. The first section I went to was Tarte. I have been dying to try this brand out for a couple of years, ever since I was introduced to the 'YouTube scene'. The Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes seem to be a popular product and since that is something my collection is lacking I picked one up in the shade Tipsy, a deep-ish pink colour. I've never tried a waterproof mascara before and the Tarte Lights Camera Splashes Mascara is supposed to be good so I put that in my basket. A few weeks ago I noticed that Benefit had brought out a base related gift set which looked right up my street so the Benefit Operation Pore-Proof Set went into my basket too. It comes with a selection of minis including the Professional Primer and Shy Beam, a matte liquid highlighter that's exclusive to the set. As soon as I clapped my eyes on the new Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette I knew it had to be mine. The shades are completely up my street and I cannot wait to do a full blown smoky eye with it. The Makeup Forever Step 1 Primer was a bit of an impulse purchase as I'd heard from somewhere that it was good at mattifying and making foundation stay put so I picked one up. I don't often buy perfumes but the Elizabeth and James Nirvana White smells too good to miss. I also love the fact that the rollerball packaging means it's easy to take around with me. Blotting Papers also made their way into the basket because they are really good and can be hard to find.

Somehow with my one visit I managed to clock up 200 points on my Sephora Beauty Insider card that I had signed up to in store. This meant I got to pick out two product minis. I didn't really know what they were but I went for a Clarins Facial SPF 50 and a Clinique Revitalising Moisturiser. As an extra freebie I also got two Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser Oil samples. Although the price tags on the products were large you get rewards for you spending and rewarded very well. I will definitely be returning!

Final Florida Round Up

I'm home, *cry cry*, from the best holiday ever! I had the best time and to commemorate the fun I'm going to look back at all of my favourite times from the trip! Let's get started!

Favourite Disney Park // It's a toss up between the cuteness of Magic Kingdom and the world showcase at Epcot.

Favourite Restaurant // More on food coming in the next few Tuesday's but I think when it comes down to it Texas Roadhouse had great food and really good service. A good all round package!

Favourite Ride // After long consideration I think that it has to be the People Mover in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. We went on it three times and I don't know what it is about it but I wish that they made it to go all around the park!

Favourite Experience // Swimming with dolphins. Without a doubt. It was amazing and something that I will never forget.

Favourite Cuddly Meeting // We didn't meet many but Chip and Dale were just too cute not too put at the top. They're chipmunks for goodness sakes! But all of the ones that were met were super cute!

How To: Natural Matte Eye

As I've said in previous posts, wearing no eyeshadow for me means that my face isn't complete. So on the rare occasion that I don't want to go all out on a full face a makeup this is the eye look that I go for.

As with pretty much every I look I start by priming my eyes with the Mac Painterly Paint Pot. It stays put all day and the neutral colour is a great base especially for this lighter coloured look. The palette I'll be using is my Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette which is one of my absolute most used palettes. I love the mix of mattes and shimmers and the fact that it's so compact so it's really easy to travel with. I started by taking the shade heaven and put it all over the lid and then went in with cashmere bunny (cutest name ever!) in the crease. I put it in quite intensely but really blend it out so that it looks really soft but you can still see the colour. These eyeshadows are so buttery and soft that they are really easy to work with and blend out. Sexpresso goes on the outer corner and slightly on the lash line. I then put the same shade on the outer half of the lower lash line and lined my waterline with the Rimmel Kohl Kajal in Sable Brown, a slightly softer colour to my usual black. My Seventeen Back Lash Mascara is very natural so a few swipes of that and the look is complete.

Harvester! (Take Two)

Want a place to get some delicious food at low low prices? Wow, that sounded like a cheese-y advert but it's true. Harvester offers some pretty good stuff and is very cheap! I never really step out of the box when I go because I love what I have too much but the main meal is different to the last post I wrote about Harvester.

I went for the Southern Fried Chicken with chips and asked for it without peas and BBQ sauce but with peppercorn sauce instead. Because it was on the early bird menu everything was set so the sauce was extra but it was so worth it. Chicken and peppercorn sauce may seem like a very weird combo but it was delicious. It came with two chicken pieces which were really crispy and tasty and then a fair amount of chips. For me the portion size was perfect and I'm not bothered about random salad on the side because I just leave it anyway.

The dessert was the rocky horror brownie sundae that I had last time so if you want to read my thoughts on that then read this post.

Primer Problems

I've been on a bit of a rollercoaster ride with primers over the last 12 months. I've only used about four in my lifetime and I've definitely been through a honeymoon love period with each of them so I thought that I would go through my experiences and journey through the land of primers.

The first primer I ever bought and tried was the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer. I bought it to go with my Stay Matte foundation and at the time I was all about that winning combination, and I think that if I tried it again now I'd probably think the same. It was mattifying but not drying and it made my foundation sit really nicely on my face. It said that you could wear it under make up or on its own but I found that on its own it didn't make that much of a difference. But under makeup it blurred over all of my pores and I felt that it's the best primer for my nose because nothing has made it look so smooth like that primer.

I was given a mini Benefit Pore-fessional by one of my friends and although it was a sample size there was a lot of product inside. I was obsessed with this throughout the time that I used it which surprised me because it was slightly silicone-y and I normally don't like that feeling on my face. I like the way that it was a nude colour and it blurs over any imperfections and means that I could wear it on its own. However, I have tried this one again recently and I don't know how I liked it. When I applied it it slipped around everywhere and my foundation didn't feel nice when I applied it. I wonder whether because it's so different to the cream ones I'm now used to it just feels strange to flit between the two. But I did really like this primer at some point.

The Body Shop Instablur came into my life after I'd heard all of the rave reviews and I have to say I did like it for the first few weeks that I used it. But slowly it made my skin feel really heavy and I realised that the silicone texture wasn't for me. When I squeezed it out of the tube it came out in a big lump and sometimes it would fall on the floor which I felt was a bit weird. I also thought that it didn't blur over my face and just kind of sat on top of my face.

Finally the new love of my life is the Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer and if you want to read my opinions on that then read this post. I think that this love might possibly last forever purely for the fact that my makeup lasts so long when I put it underneath.

Florida Round Up #3

Animal Kingdom
Arrived bright and early. Had second thoughts about going on expedition everest. Decided against it. Was told it was very good. Skipped to the lion king show. Was insanely good. Fast passed to the rapids ride, which was a good job as it was very busy. Would have been a disaster without the ponchos but it was all fine. Good fun. Waited for the flights of wonder show. Became one of the highlights of the day. Very funny and cute. Then it was time for the safari trek. Elephants on the trail meant the ride was closed. We found out after a 30 minute wait. Great. Torrential downpour meant we headed home early.

Epcot
Great day. Went to world showcase. Didn't open until 11. Test track. Really good, one of the best rides of the holiday. Time for the showcase. Boat ride in Mexico. Wander around Norway. Visit the sights of China. Get festive in Germany. Watch a gondola man in Italy. Get patriotic in America. Peek at Aladdin in Morocco. Have a browse of the shops in Japan. Eat a crepe in France. Meet Pooh and Tigger in the UK. Buy an ice hockey shirt in Canada. Overall it was one of my favourite days!

Seaworld
Woke to rain (spoiler alert, it rained pretty much all day). Went on the Atlantis log flume. It was great because getting wet wasn't a problem. Lots of fun was had. Shows were the name of the game. The dolphin show was followed by sea lions, pets doing tricks and Shamu. The sea lion show was my fave because it was funny and didn't have depressing music about being 'one ocean' (sorry Shamu).

Hollywood Studios
Returned once again to finish everything off. I'd defs recommend One mans dream which is Walt Disney's life and is a gallery with a film at the end. It was interesting and lovely I loved it. Lights, motors, action show next and that wasn't really my thing. I did appreciate the appearance of Lightening McQueen however. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. It was okay (he he he). It was seriously good and I'd love to see it again.

Magic Kingdom
This time it was a night time visit and it was really busy. So busy that they kept the park open for an extra hour. We beat the 115 minute queue for splash mountain with our fast passes. I loved it so much that I would defs go on it again. Haunted Mansion time and I was not looking forward to it. The queue was awful as everyone was squashed together and it was such a hot day. The ride was okay and different. Parade time! We couldn't really see the parade but I loved the fireworks and especially the disney music.

How to: Face Masks

I thought that in this how to post I'd give a run down of the face masks I have (and regularly use) and in what situations I use them. It's not long since I did a face mask post but I've been using these for a while now and I think I've got the ones I always use nailed down.

The quick fix
For those times ([cough] time of the month [cough]) when my skin is looking a bit sad and spotty the mask that I reach for is the Origins out of trouble 10 minute mask. It smells like tea tree and you can really feel it working. It says to take it all over your face and down your neck and to me if really feels like it's drawing all of the badness out of your skin but not in a drying and stripping way. The fact that it's only ten minutes means that it's enough time to feel like it's making a difference but not that you get bored with it sat on your face.

The deep clean
There's a lot of hype around the Origins Charcoal Mask for being great at clearing up the skin on all skin types and I have to agree. You apply a thick-ish layer all over your face and wait around 25 minutes for it to dry. It's like your typical face mask where you apply it, let it dry to a point where you can't move your face and smiling is a no go and then clean it off. As with the above mask, you can really feel it getting to work and clearing your skin of any dirt. It does particularly well on blackheads  and it really opens up the pores.

The skin plumper
The Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask. There have only been a few times when I've needed this mask but when I've needed it I've REALLY needed it. More often than not I'll use this the night after a night out and my skin goes from scale-y to plump and refreshed. I bought all of the Origins masks in a set and I didn't think that I'd get much use out of it as I thought it would make my skin oily but instead of oily it just makes it feel clean and fresh, hydration without the grease, love it!

The in-betweener
I use the Simple Deep Cleansing Face Mask midweek when I want a bit of a quick clean. Because the mask only needs to be on for two minutes it feels less like a face mask and more like a more intense face wash. I use this when I think, my skin needs a perk up but I haven't got time, and I just whack it on and it firms up my face and gets rid of the badness on the surface. It's a quicker fix than my quick fix but the fix isn't as long lasting...fix.

George's! (Take Three)

Another trip to Nottingham means another trip to George's to introduce more family members to its foodie goodness. And the exciting news was that they'd changed the menu slightly so I could try something completely different. I even went for a different pudding (I know, no doughnuts!).

For my main I went for the beef bourguignon pie with roasted shallots and chips. It was delicious! The top of the pie looks a bit weird because of the shallots but they were very tasty and sweet. The pie filling was really flavourful and full of sauce. There was so much meat which was great for the size of the pie and the price and the shortcrust pastry was so delicious and there was just enough of it. The chips, as always were fluffy and crispy and perfect and the portion size of the whole meal was perfect. I seriously don't think that I'd be able to finish a full portion though as I've always had a lunch portion.

This very weird and wonderful creation was a nutella and banana sandwich and I don't know how I feel about it. It was basically nutella and banana, in bread and then deep fried. When I got it I was definitely surprised, I didn't really know what it would be but I didn't think deep fried bread would be part of the equation. The filling was very tasty and I could have that by the bucket load but I don't think that the bread was really my thing. The blue banana ice cream was really the star of the show. It was just a banana flavour but it was nice and cooling and I think that the next time I go I'll just have that with heaps of cream on!

My Life Essentials

There are some things in life that I just would not be able to live without, and I'm not talking family or anything like that but I mean really stupid things that no one needs in life but that I seriously DO NEED. So here is a list of things that if I didn't have for some reason I might die, seriously near death at least.

Costa Card
My life, my literal life. Since I got back from university I have been going to costa pretty much everyday, and if not everyday at least five times a week. It's a problem and an addiction but something that makes it worth it is my costa card. I may be spending 90% of my money on coffee and cake but the fact that every so often I can get it for free makes it worth it (that makes no sense but I get what I mean). It's such a shame that my SU coffee shop doesn't accept the card, then my life would be complete.

Eyeshadow
I wear eyeshadow everyday and if I didn't wear it I'd feel so naked so that definitely makes it an essential. It doesn't have to be a complex eye look all the time, especially now that I have my Kiko Eyeshadow Sticks so that I can just sweep and go. Recently, liner has been a big thing as well but if I went out of the house without that on it wouldn't be the end of the world. Also the Mac 217 brush can come under this category as well, I don't know what I ever did without it!

Cotton Pads
Without cotton pads I would literally be lost when it comes to skincare. I go through them like it's nobody's business and I especially love the large ones. I bought large ones just randomly one day and I've never looked back. I use them as is with my Garnier Micellar Water to take my makeup off and then rip them in half to use my Nivea Toner. I go through much less of the large ones but I still get through them at a stupid pace. Without these my skincare routine would be non-existent and I'm not going back to wipes. Essential.

Laptop
I don't even want to joke about ever losing my laptop. Anyone that knows me knows that this is literally my life. It goes with me pretty much anywhere, to the point that if I'm going to the kitchen to cook food I'll take it with me or if I go to the toilet it joins me. And I never shower without it. I watch videos and TV on it, blog on it, shop on it, do work on it, google the day away on it and it is literally my baby. It may have been expensive but it's money well spent.
